Hello,

I don't have any of those devices but maybe I can find one from my friends. Are you asking this for being able to reach the service menu on the TV? If yes, is there another way to do this?

thank you all for your great help. i'm also suffering from these same problems for the same TV model (49UF8507) in Turkey.
I want to add some informations about the procedure.

First, i don't know where is the lack but our in_dump.txt file never chaged when we check for update. Because of that our used answer file becomes an estimated model answer file. And second, i have checked several times for if used Apache port is 80.

And also, i have a LG Optimus G Pro smartphone with IR Remote control. May you guide me please what could i do?
(besides i have a programmable universal remote control (like)).

Or via the remote control "One for all" (URC-7556 or similar). You must enter the code: the button "Magic" and "00014" - mode Power Only; "Magic" and "00015" - mode In-Stop (factory reset).

Launch the app "Galaxy IR". I pressed on the left there is the "Menu" button and chose "Download" a remote control, and writed "LG Service". Was featured remote LG, and that is all in English, I clicked "Download", and he was loaded on the remote screen. I direction a smartphone on the TV and pressed the button "Power Only". TV screen will be white. Then I insert the USB flash drive with the right firmware, which is located in the directory LG_DTV. Automatically starts the process of firmware tv. TV in the late restarts. If the process does not start flashing, it means that your TV does not support this method of flashing.

Download and install the application "Smart IR Remote - AnyMote" on your smartphone: http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=461470&st=460
Launch the app "Smart IR Remote - AnyMote". Select "TV" and then "LG", then write "Service", then click on the "SERVICE REMOTE" and click the "Samsung internalization IR Blaster", then direction the smartphone on TV and click on the "IN-STOP". TV turns off.

thank you for suggestions. I tried both Galaxy IR and Anymote on both my LG Opt.Gpro and Samsung Note 3 but tv didn't respond.

And yesterday i faced with this page: https://github.com/openlgtv/nsu_emu
Luckily, NSU_Emu by SMX method worked succesfully for my 49UF8507 model. I think NSU_Emu by SMX method can be an alternative way for who suffers from LgTvUpdater method like me and mtuna10.

(further, i actually wonder about your "One for all" remote controller method. Because this seems simpler than the methods above.)

The only difference i see is indirect resolving of snu.lge.com
Seems they've done this simple check to break classic method.
We can overcome this check simply by changing dnsproxy from acrylic to http://sourceforge.net/projects/dhcp-dns-server/ and configure it as mentioned in the https://github.com/openlgtv/nsu_emu (the key difference is the string "snu.lge.com.usgcac.cdnetworks.net=snu.lge.com", which is not supported by acrylic).

I finally managed to downgrade my TV !! :) Many thanks to the method by SMX, the process worked like a charm. Thanks a lot once again for all your help and patience.
