Hi!

I'm trying to downgrade my 65c7v firmware 3.60 (latest official LG) to previous 3.51 version. I downloaded the latest LgDTVUpDater (october) but inside it's only de 2017 Australian OLED firmware (for B, C, E, G and W series), So finally y downloaded manually the 3.51 firmware from LG site, I copied to htdocs with the HE_DTV_W17H_AFADABAA file and finally I edited the IP and put manually to DNS in TV.

Everything works fine, because my TV detects the 3.51 firmware, but when I try to install it, I received an error message (This Update can't install in this TV Model):

I think the problem is <REQ_ID> line, how I can get this value?

Hello,

I'm trying to downgrade my 42LF652V-ZA (webOS 2.2.3-169) firmware 04.06.30 (latest official LG) to the test version (starfish-dvb-secured-m14tv-1.biscayne.m14tv-127-04.10.45-prodkey_nsu_V3_SECURED.epk) using local method with HE_DTV_W15M_AFAAABAA answer file from Otkat_2014_2015_2016.zip.
TV is with laptop connected using twisted pair cable (described here mixmar @ Откат и восстановление предыдущих версий прошивок).
I can open snu.lge.com local website using tv's browser but when chcecking for updates the computer isn't touched (in_dump.txt file is not created).
And when using AnyMote S.R.and trying to enter any offered service mode (EZ-ADJUST, IN-START, IN-STOP) the TV is asking for PIN (4 numbers) but I don't know it.
Can anybody help me please?

Thank you, it's working.Had found some youtube videos too.But not sure how to downgrade FW if my TV not touching laptop though is directly connected:-/

EDIt:
Found solution for first jump = upgrade to the test version: Service menu @ AnyMote> IN-START, System 2 > NSU Mode = Engineer Mode.After this, created LG_DTV folder in USB memory device and copied test EPK.Next step will be the downgrade to an older production version.

Hello there,
Thank you for giving us English speakers the option to receive help. I currently have an LG UF6400. I am attempting to downgrade the firmware to see if I can enable WOL (Wake on LAN). I was able to update to 03.20.65 and then downgrade to 03.15.86. However, I cannot seem to find any firmware files for anything below this version.Do you happen to know if there is anywhere I can find lower firmware?

The output of my in_dump.txt is requesting: HE_DTV_W15B_AFADATAA

There are all 5 versions for his TV, what I could do, I understand that these firmware are not for Europe, but instead of dvb for atsc.
The archive contains the UF6400.txt file with links to all these software files - 03.10.60, 03.15.02, 03.15.55, 03.15.86, 03.16.00 and 03.20.65.
Also in the archive there are 5 folders with the names of the software versions - 03_10_60, 03_15_02, 03_15_55, 03_15_86, 03_16_00 and 03_20_65, the latest version to return rollback.
These folders contain two subfolders, local and online, with answer files for the local installation method from a PC from the htdocs folder and for online over the network from the LG server.
I hope that you know about the work of the rollback program and how it is configured and how everything should be used and where to download it.

From the firmware version 03.15.86 you rolled back to, the rollback below may not work, it is from 2019.
It will be necessary to install the intermediate version 03.20.65 again, and only then roll back to the selected version from those earlier.
Version 03.15.55 is also from 2018, maybe you can't rollback from it either, there are only two old versions 03.15.02 and 03.10.60.

Hello! Thank you so much. I was able to upgrade to 20.65 and then downgrade to the earliest firmware provided. Unfortunately, the "WOL" option is still greyed out in the service menu. I am now trying to root the TV and see if I can enable it in the console. However, the "GetMeIn" jailbreak states "Cannot read memory device. " I am on WebOS 2 so I would imagine it should be compatible?

Anyways, thank you again for your help!

Hi, I need your help
I have 47lb670.one day it stuck on "LG Life is good" boot logo and I take it to local tv-service.They're re-flash something and it works again, but...I cannot do update of firmware.It founds the new version, but then say.. "update failed due data decryption error".From USB it is even do not start...
And my second issue is I get HDCP ERROR from some devices (ps3 and set-up box) that was working before...
Any suggestions what can I do? Please, help
